For the year 2008-2009, community corrections clients paid $113,008 in restitution to victims, Court cost and fines, child support and payroll taxes. They also performed $29,000 in free labor through the Community Service Program. Collateral effects were also gained by the clients earning $1,739,567.31 in wages, thereby being able to support themselves and their families, thus reducing State and Federal funding to these individuals.
